According to the very highly regarded British Medical Journal, a zombie apocalypse spreading across the globe is actually a possibility. Mind you there are a handful of caveats, but the globalization of commerce and the inability for governments to work together will mean such a disease could spread super-fast and leave everyone fending for themselves.
